Please be aware that these terms and conditions do not supersede statutory rights under the Sale of Good Acts, but are designed to clarify the principles and procedures by which we operate. Fabrics and colours may vary slightly from item to item but this will not affect the overall look of your design. Every care has been taken to ensure that all images and descriptions of our products are as accurate. Variations of this nature are what make handmade objects unique.

What if an item appears to be ‘sold out’?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that all items will always be in stock, although we do try our best to keep stock levels updated. If an item you have purchased is out of stock we will advice you of an anticipated delivery date-if this is unsuitable and we cannot supply an appropriate alternative, we will happily refund your payment.
What currency am I shopping in?
All prices shown on this website are in Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT. Credit card sales will be charged in your local billing currency by your credit card provider. From time to time data entry errors or other technical problems may result in inaccurate prices being shown: in such cases we are not required to honor this price, although we may choose to do so depending on the circumstances, and we will endeavor to be fair to both parties. If you see any price you believe to be incorrect, please contact us so we can verify it for you.
How do I pay for my goods?
You can order online through our shopping cart and pay through the website using PayPal which is safe, secure and fast. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
You do not need to have a PayPal account to order with us, however – you will just be directed to a secure payment page where you can either sign in to your existing PayPal account, or securely enter your card details. This method assures you of security and confidentially. Using this system we have no access to your credit card information, we simply receive a notification that the amount has been debited.
How is my order shipped and how long will it take to receive it?
The final price quoted on the payments page is the price of the goods including delivery to the stated destination; costs will vary depending on weight and size of order. These charges include carriage by UK Royal Mail or other designated carrier. Most orders are dispatched using Royal Mail’s 2nd Class service, although during busy Christmas period we will use the 1st Class Service. Courier delivery can be arranged and will be charged accordingly. Please allow 2-7 business days to receive your goods if you are within the UK. International post can take between 5-15 business days depending on the country.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no insurance on these packages. If you would like us to send your order with Insurance, please e-mail us and we will happily arrange that at an extra charge. We are not responsible if packages are lost or damaged during transit to you.
How is my order packaged?
All items ordered from Jessica Hayes-Gill will be sent you in a weatherproof mailbag to ensure your purchase shall arrive just as we had sent it. We take great care in packaging your order and wherever possible we will always use recyclable materials. Certain items from our collection are completed with a brown box for ease of handling and packaging; this is clearly stated in the relevant product description. If you are sending your purchase as a gift and would like it to be gift wrapped then please state this in the comments section upon checkout and we shall deliver them as required. To send your gift directly to the recipient select your chosen item into your shopping basket and then when prompted, select the country they are in. This will calculate the postage/shipping charge for the products chosen.
What if my parcel gets damaged or lost in transit?
From time to time things do get lost or damaged in transit. If this happens with your order, please inform us within 7 days of delivery by e-mail at email@example.com with as much detail you can provide. It is our policy to cover any shipping costs for you to return it to us. We will then replace the item free of charge as soon as the original has been delivered here.
However, since we never knowingly ship damaged goods we may need your help to try to recover our costs from the carrier wherever possible. If you do receive damaged goods, please retain all relevant documentation in case we decide to make an insurance claim against the Royal Mail or the carrier’s insurers. If you receive a damaged parcel, please take note of the fact (or even better, a photograph) before you open the package to examine the content. If this is a courier delivery and you are unable to open the damaged package in the presence of the courier, make sure that you sign for it as ‘Damaged packaged; goods not yet inspected’ or similar to facilitate any claim we later make.
What if I want to cancel my Order?
Items can be returned for any reason as long as we are informed in writing of your intention to return within 7 days of receipt. All we ask is that you pay the postage. We will refund the full cost of the item, minus any P&P charged at the time of order, within 30 days of receiving your written notice, using the same payment method as the original transaction. Please ensure to take care of these items while in your possession, and that any stock returned is in perfect condition ensuring your receipt is enclosed. Jessica Hayes-Gill will not be held responsible for items missing in transit, so; again we recommend you have your delivery insured.
